Tilak deserves praise for bringing us to a respectable sum. The surface was favorable for batting. Despite not even playing to half our ability, we reached 170. More runs—probably 30 to 40—would have been perfect. Tilak was outstanding, although we were having trouble playing catch-up.

He’s had a successful home campaign. Last year, he played so well for us, but he could not secure a win. Even in the nets here, he wasn’t readily hit for sixes in the nets, so he was prepared to compete. With his skill set, [he is] very assured, and his move in the center was significant. He took a few key wickets and gave us the upper hand in the middle portion.
